Junior Project Manager

Location: Gloucester – Hybrid (3 days per week onsite)

Arca Resourcing is supporting a growing specialist engineering business in Gloucester operating within the UK energy and infrastructure sector to appoint a Junior Project Manager.

This opportunity is open to individuals with experience in project coordination or early-stage project management. You do not need to come from an energy or utilities background — candidates from construction, engineering, manufacturing, or other project-based environments are encouraged to apply.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will support the delivery of projects from initiation through to completion, with particular emphasis on:

• Supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects
• Assisting with project plans, schedules, and resource coordination
• Working with clients and stakeholders to maintain strong communication
• Coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Monitoring project progress and supporting reporting activities
• Assisting with risk identification and mitigation
• Supporting commercial and programme delivery objectives

About You

• Experience in a Project Coordinator, Assistant Project Manager, or similar role
• Understanding of project delivery within a project-based environment
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Commercial awareness and willingness to develop
• Proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented
