As they continue to expand globally, they are seeking a Junior Project Manager to join their growing Project Delivery team. This is a varied and rewarding role, supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of complex engineering programmes from project initiation through to customer acceptance. Working alongside experienced Project and Programme Managers, you'll gain exposure to all aspects of project delivery while developing your skills in scheduling, stakeholder management, budgeting and risk management.

The Role
As a Junior Project Manager, you will support the successful delivery of engineering projects by coordinating activities across multiple departments, maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress and helping ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specification.
Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, procurement and commercial teams, you'll help manage project plans, identify risks, communicate progress and support customer deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of engineering projects to agreed timescales, budgets and customer requirements.
- Maintain project schedules and track progress against key milestones.
- Coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, procurement and other internal departments.
- Monitor project costs and support the management of Estimated Cost to Completion (labour and materials).
- Assist with identifying project risks, issues and dependencies, proposing solutions where appropriate.
- Prepare project reports, status updates and documentation for internal and customer meetings.
- Help ensure resource requirements are forecast and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Support the preparation of customer-facing documentation and project communications.
- Maintain accurate project records, documentation and audit trails.
- Work alongside Project and Programme Managers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Project Management function.
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and eager to develop a career in project management within a highly technical engineering environment.
You'll ideally have:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Business or a related discipline, or relevant industry experience.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to planning.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Project (or similar planning software) would be advantageous.
- An interest in engineering, technology or manufacturing environments.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
