The Opportunity
ARCA Resourcing is partnering with a growing, high-performance manufacturing business to appoint a hands-on Warehouse Manager.
This is not a “sit behind a desk” role. You’ll take full ownership of warehouse operations across multiple sites, leading a small team while ensuring the efficient flow of goods, accurate inventory, and seamless support to production and customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations & Stock Control
- Oversee all goods-in and goods-out activities, ensuring smooth communication and operational efficiency
- Ensure deliveries are checked, booked in, and stored correctly
- Manage dispatch to customers and internal site transfers
- Maintain accurate inventory across multiple locations within ERP/MRP systems
- Oversee timely and accurate kitting of components to support production schedules
- Collaborate closely with engineering, materials control, and production teams
- Identify and resolve material shortages, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies
- Maintain high levels of stock accuracy through robust systems and cycle counting
- Investigate discrepancies using root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Implement structured storage systems to improve accessibility and efficiency
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse aligned with Health & Safety standards
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and quality requirements
- Maintain accurate, auditable documentation
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, develop, and support warehouse and inventory personnel
- Set clear expectations and manage performance
- Build a high-performing, accountable team culture
- Ensure consistent adherence to training, safety, and operational best practices
Continuous Improvement & Reporting
- Drive continuous improvement across warehouse operations (efficiency, accuracy, scalability)
- Develop and implement SOPs and best practices
- Use data and reporting to monitor performance and identify improvements
- Maintain accurate stock data within ERP/MRP systems
- Track and report on key warehouse KPIs
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Experience in a warehouse or stores management/supervisory role
- Background within manufacturing or a similar production environment
- Strong understanding of inventory control and stock management
- Experience leading or managing a small team
- Comfortable using ERP/MRP or stock control systems
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proactive problem-solver who can operate in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
- Experience operating across multiple sites
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Exposure to continuous improvement / lean methodologies
