As part of a growing UK R&D team, we're seeking an experienced Senior Biostatistician to lead the statistical design, analysis and reporting of cutting-edge medical research studies.

In this leadership-level role, you'll collaborate closely with researchers and programmers to deliver robust statistical solutions across clinical trials, meta-analyses, observational studies and regulatory submissions. You’ll take ownership of statistical methodologies, guide project delivery, and mentor junior staff in a collaborative, knowledge-rich environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyse clinical and observational studies using SAS
• Lead statistical planning, modelling and interpretation
• Contribute to protocol development and funding proposals
• Manage end-to-end statistical aspects of multiple projects
• Provide expert guidance to researchers and regulatory teams
• Mentor interns and contribute to internal training

What We’re Looking For

• MSc or PhD in Statistics or Biostatistics
• 5+ years in medical research statistics
• Advanced SAS programming skills
• Strong background in GLMs, survival analysis, mixed models
• Familiarity with data management and clinical trial regulations
• Proven leadership, project management and communication skills
